Author's Note: This page is written part diary, part commentary. Everything in here is taken from voice notes I made while travelling, and I only cleaned up for readability. There were many, many photos that were dropped by my developer because they weren't bright enough, despite the fact that I asked him not to because I can clean up the graphics on the computer. So, I apologize in advance for the lack of images in certain areas.

Day 1 - In which our hero leaves his home, travels through the kingdom of the majestic California Rednecks, drives through a tree, sees a "Make Money Fast" post on a tree, and ends with the "Cows of the Baskervilles."
